The biggest mobile handset maker Nokia has launched two new dual SIM QWERTY handsets - Asha 200 and Asha 300 at an affordable price. Both the handsets will run on S40 Asha operating system.
THE FINNISH mobile phone giant Nokia has launched dual SIM phones Nokia Asha 200 and Asha 300 in India. The company had announced about the dual SIM QWERTY phone in Nokia World 2011 in October. Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia Asha 300 are priced Rs 4,349 and Rs 7,409 respectively.

The latest edition of Nokia, Asha 200 comes with a S40 Asha operating system and the phone has 2.4-inch (320×240 pixels) TFT display with a dedicated SIM manager and messaging keys. Nokia 200 is the first QWERTY based dual SIM device. It offers one-click access to social networking sites like Facebook. The cellphone has 2 megapixals camera with 4x digital zoom and video camera with 15 frames/sec video playback.
SDRAM memory of Asha 200 is 32 mb and it can be expendable up to 32 GB. Its battery BL-5J 1430mAh supports 888 hours of GSM standby time. Nokia Asha 200's browsing features include CSS, WAP 2.0, HTML 4.0, XHTML 1.1, Javascript 1.8 etc. This handset is available in five colours.
The Nokia 300 is a music phone and has a five megapixel camera and available in two colours. Nokia 300 has 2.4-inch (320×240 pixels) TFT display and it is a touch and type phone. This handset has SDRAM memory of 128 MB and battery BL-4U 3.7V 1110 mAh support maximum GSM standby time of 550 hours.
This 3G phone will run on S40 Asha operating system and the Nokia Asha 300 featuring support for quad-band GSM, quad-band WCDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA. This handset has built-in Apps such as Facebook and Angry Birds.
