Nokia Ovi Map - free navigation, supported phones list
Nokia has launched the new version of the Nokia Ovi Maps. It can be downloaded free. Mentioned here are the features, supported phones list and all details.
Turn by turn voice guidance for around 74 countries. Available in 46 languages and traffic information for more than 10 countries. Even detailed maps for more than 180 countries would be available. All new GPS enabled Nokia Smartphones from March 2010 will have the Nokia OVI maps installed. Existing users can download it on their phones from the Ovi Maps website. The list of Nokia Mobile phones that support ovi maps are: tNokia N97 mini, 5800 XpressMusic, 5800 Navigation Edition, E52, E55, E72, 5230, 6710 Navigator, 6730 classic and X6. The Nokia N97 is not in the supported list, but very soon it would be added to the official list of supported devices. The main thing about the Nokia Ovi maps is that it uses hybrid vector maps that are far less data-heavy than typical map images. It helps in translating to faster updating and responses times on the phone. The best part is that unlike Google, Nokia Ovi Maps doesn’t need a network connection to function.

how do i get the location in jammu and kashmir and other features of ovi maps as there is no road map , categories and no routes to navigate .

Hi,i have 5800 cellphone ,and version of my GPS on mobile is21.00.25 ,and i can not install the new version of GPS ,because it needs the version of 31.0.008 .please send this new version for me.

N97 is too supported (I know that since I own one) :)
BTW, The turn by turn voice guided navigation isn't free for India. You can activate a 90 day trial license from your handset but after that you'll have to probably subscribe for the same to continue using.
