Not everyone is impressed with off-spinner Harbhajan Singh's inclusion in Indian test cricket team
Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has got a surprise call from BCCI's selectors to play in the single test match against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. Chief selector Sandeep Patil while talking to media persons yesterday, said that Harbhajan was the choice of the selectors as well as captain Virat Kohli.

Sandeep Patil said that since Bangladesh team has many left-handed batsmen, Harbhajan's inclusion is justified.

No doubt Harbhajan Singh's career has got a new life after this fresh call, which came after 2013 when he last played for the national team. One of the greatest Indian off-spinners, Harbhajan didn't forget to say thank you to his fans for their continuous support.

Legendary Indian leg spinner Anil Kumble congratulated Harbhajan Singh for his inclusion in Team India. Kumble in a tweet said that Harbhajan deserves a place in the national team.

Indian batsman and captain of IPL team Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma too welcomed Harbhajan Singh in the test team. Notably Harbhajan Singh is also a member of Mumbai Indians team.

But it's not like every former cricketer has given a thumbs up to the Harbhajan's selection in Team India. Former great spinner Bishan Singh Bedi questioned selectors' decision to include Harbhajan Singh in the team while terming it as a backward step.

"Don't agree wSPatil's verdict. In any case it also smacks of a terrible backward step! Indn Crkt must think & forge ahead not back," says Bedi's tweet as reported by Times of India.

Former Indian captain and BCCI's ex-chief selector, Dilip Vengsarkar too looked not in a mood to welcome the verdict of Sandeep Patil and his team regarding Harbhajan Singh. He questioned that if Harbhajan Singh was so good then why he was dropped two years back from the team when he was the senior-most bowler that time.

It is being said that Harbhajan's IPL and domestic performance was one of the criteria of his recall. But Vengsarkar was totally in disagreement with this theory also as he raised the point, "What was the basis of Harbhajan Singh's selection in the team."
