The President of America surprised everyone when he started singing on a fundraiser. People..
CAN YOU imagine Manmohan Singh
or Mamata Banerjee singing while attending a charity show? While our serious and opinionated politicians would never be able to pull this off, we must give hats off to the first citizen of United States, Barack Obama
who pulled off such a trick with perfect poise and sophistication.
Not only a charismatic leader but also an entertainer, is what Obama would be known, when on Friday, January 20, at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, he infatuated many people’s hearts with his rendition of Reverend Al Green's soul-filled classic, “Let's Stay Together.” Youtubers went crazy watching the video again and again and within hours the video went from You Tube to almost every next person’s Facebook
Although it is a small 55 second-video and he sang just two lines but he did it perfectly adding the word, “and they thought I won’t do it,” that made the audience go into splits. Whatever, his policies and political agendas, the President sure knows how to keep everyone focused.
After Bill Clinton, who played a Saxophone on Arsenio Hall in 1992, Obama is the second president to actually do something as normal as singing in a hall full of people. This man, who rose slowly and steadily to the political power also loves cooking, listening to Jazz and sometimes puts on his dancing shoes too. For now the people are enjoying his voice but they would definitely wait for him to put his best foot forward.
