Come 5th November, Wal-Mart, one of the biggest retailers in the world, would be offering huge discounts on the day, which would thus also act as a preview for Black Friday.
THERE'S NO shopper like an American shopper - nor is there's likely to be one. Recession or no recession, Wal-Mart has full faith in the American consumer to open his purse strings. On November 5, a day that will be a dress rehearsal for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, the US-based Wal-Mart, one of the biggest retailers in the world, will open its stores from 11am to 12 pm for a total of 13 hours of pure shopping, while offering great discounts.

Some of the discounts that would be offered on the day would be for electronics goods like the LG 47-inch Class LED TV, which on November 5 would cost only $698, and the tablet book reader Nook Color, which would be for $199, while originally being for $249, as reported by latimes.com. The retailers must be expecting their Balck Friday trailer to be an instant hit.
For a cash-strapped American shopper, November 5 is likely to be a dream come true, as discounts on goods will help them to save at a time when jobs are not only scarce but also have no guarantee.
