MOBILE PHONE major Nokia on Monday (November 16), launched the premium Nokia N97 mini that allows users to lifecast with the help of Ovi platform also developed by the same company. N97 mini is offered in partnership with Facebook and it allows people to public location and status updates directly into their accounts from the home screen of the mobile phone.

This service is avialable via Nokia Beta Lab and the Nokia's Ovi store provides for the games, podcasts and web applications

In addition to global pedestrian navigation, people can access premium content from Lonely Planet, Michelin and Wcities, turning the Nokia N97 mini into the world's smallest travel companion.
