MANHATTAN BASED model Nick Snider was arrested in Arkansas on Wednesday after he, in a drunken state, offered oral sex to a police officer. Reports said that Snider protested an arrest saying that he is "a very famous model".

 
21 year old Nick Snider has been the face of fashion chain Prada and was named the world's fifth most successful male model by Forbes in 2008. He is expected to walk the ramp for the coveted Yves Saint Laurent next week as the Fashion week starts.
 

His agency, VNY Model Management, denied rumors that Snider would be fired because of the embarrassing arrest. "We are here to support him in his troubled times and will work with both Nick and his family to get him the help he deserves," said VNY in a statement.

Snider is now free on $780 bond and has to return to Arkansas for a February 17 trial, officials said.
