THE NEW York restaurant Summer week is back and will last longer than before on popular demand. The Restaurant Week Truck is also back, motoring around New York City and dishing out summer soup from participating eateries. Today, June 13, the Restaurant Week Truck will pull up at Broadway and 50th Street for lunch between 11:30 and 1:30. The truck debuted during the 2010 New York winter restaurant week and will now offer $6 bowls of summer soups. To list in the menu are dishes like tomatillo-avocado soupfrom Dos Caminos, chilled edamame soup from Megu, and Pozole de pollo from Rocking Horse Cafe.
The event will be held from today to July 25. During this period, one can enjoy three course meals at entering the restaurants for only $35 at dinner and $24.07 at lunchtime.There are as many as 275 restaurants taking part in the New York Restaurant Week this summer. This grand event is a New York City tradition that attracts people from all over. The event gives an opportunity to the New Yorkers and tourists to experience the food extravaganza as well as earn points.
