NYC half marathon 2010: Peter Kamais and Mara Yamauchi win
Peter Kamais and Mara Yamauchi won the New York half marathon on Sunday morning respectively in men's and women's race. Both Peter Kamais and Mara Yamauchi were the debutant in the New York half marathon.
MARATHON RUNNERS Peter Kamais and Mara Yamauchi won the New York half marathon on Sunday morning respectively in men's and women's race. The New York half marathon started at 7:35 am, from Central Park and finished in Lower Manhattan. Both Peter Kamais and Mara Yamauchi were the debutant in the New York half marathon.
In the women's race Mara Yamauchi of Great Britain finished in also a new course record time 1:09:17. Britain's Yamauchi passed Deena Kastor in the late stage while most of the American Kastor took led. Kastor finished second in 1:09:43.
