'Office of Rahul Gandhi' joins Twitter!
Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi's office has joined Twitter. The verified account, @OfficeOfRG clearly mentions that it is official account of the 'Office of Rahul Gandhi', Member of Parliament, Vice President, Indian National Congress.

The Twitter account of Rahul Gandhi's office says that information and updates on Gandhi scion's official programs and upcoming events will be updated on this Twitter account.

So far there are three tweets in total on office of Rahul Gandhi's tweeter profile with number of followers increasing with each passing hour. 'Office of Rahul'Gandhi is following only three other account's currently. The three are Indian National Congress (INC), The Youth Wing of the - Indian National Congress (IYC) and NSUI.

Meanwhile questions have also been raised on why Rahul Gandhi didn't join Twitter directly, and instead did it through his office.

Sadhavi Khosla Dalal, an entrepreneur, blogger and a political analyst followed by none other than PM Narendra Modi in a tweet tagged to the Congress party and its leaders like Shashi Tharoor and Jyotiraditya Scindia advised Rahul Gandhi to communicate directly.

The first tweet from Rahul's office informed that the Congress V-P will start a 15 km foot march in Telangana's Adilabad district. The latest tweet has come today, which highlights Rahul Gandhi's move of taking up the issue of Amethi Mega Food Park in Parliament.
The move to join micro-blogging site Twitter by Rahul Gandhi is seen as one more step to directly connect to the public. After the 56-day sabattical Rahul Gandhi has shown promptness and aggressiveness towards raising those issues which directly affects the public, especially the 'commoners'.

Soon after his return to New Delhi from Bangkok, Rahul held a rally at Ramleela Maida where he spoke on proposed land bill. Then he took up the farmers' matter inside Lok Sabha.

Rahul Gandhi joined the public's voice in raising the matter of net neutrality and asked the government in Lok Sabha to ensure that net remains neutral.

Rahul has recently visited Punjab to interact with farmers there and to discuss there problems. The Congress leader these days is on foot march to meet farmers in across the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has 12.1 million followers on twitter and he uses the micro-blogging site to express his personal views on various matters and issues through this.

Will the twitter profile of Office of Rahul Gandhi be able to match this fan following? Will the Gandhi scion also going to use this account of his office to express his personal views apart from the party's views?
