Olive appoints Kapil Dev as its goodwill ambassador
The new entrant in to the mobile handset market in India Olive Telecommunication has appointed Kapil Dev, the former captain of Indian cricket team and the legendary all rounder as its goodwill ambassador in India.
OLIVE TELECOMMUNICATION has appointed Kapil Dev, the former captain of Indian cricket team and the legendary all rounder as its goodwill ambassador in India.
 
Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev will support wide range of devices from Olive. The devices to be promoted by the former cricketer will include OliveFrvrOn – India’s first dual power hybrid phone and OliveWiz- India’s first triple sim QWERTY keypad phone and many other mobile handsets for the Indian market.
 
"It is a pleasure to be associated with a brand like Olive because of its innovative cutting edge technology and the significant role that the company is playing in bringing innovative convergence devices for its users," Kapil Dev said in a statement.
 
Chairman of Olive Telecommunication, Arun Khanna has said, "Kapil is the epitome of cricket in India and regarded as the greatest all-rounders the sport has ever seen. We are confident that our association with Kapil will definitely lend an edge to the positioning of our offerings."
