Olivia Namath, the daughter of Joe Namath, the NFL legendary quarterback was arrested today morning by the Palm Beach County Sherrif's Deputy. She was arrested for possession of Marijuana with the intent of selling it.

The latest news is that Olivia Namath, the daughter of Joe Namath, the NFL legendary quarterback was arrested today morning by the Palm Beach County Sherrif’s Deputy. She was arrested for possession of Marijuana with the intent of selling it.

Olivia 19, was caught by the Deputy after she was speeding in her silver Mercedes near Jupiter, Fla. After pulling over, the deputy asked Olivia for her license and that was the time he smelled of Marijuana. He asked Namath and the 2 other passengers to come out of the vehicle and searched for the drugs.

The Deputy found a bag of pot in the driver’s footboard. He checked the trunk and discovered a number of small bags of marijuana, which altogether weighed over 200 grams. In the search the Deputy also found an open bottle of Captain Morgan’s rum and 11 cans of beer.

On being questioned Namath denied knowing anything about the marijuana in the car. But when she was asked if anyone else had access to her trunk , she said no. Further she refused to answer any other questions.

Namath was arrested for possession of marijuana under 20 grams, alcohol in possession of a minor and having marijuana with intent of selling.
