On composing shape art with zigzag lines

Everyone has an artist hidden inside him or herself, which can be awakened easily by making a beginning with shape art. Shape is the basic element of art for a beginner. The outline of a shape can be decorated with other elements of art lines, colours, textures, etc.

SEVEN BASIC elements of any art piece are line, shape, form, space, texture, value and colour. While doing art work, one has to manipulate these elements along with the principles of design to compose or create a piece of art.

Any art work has at least two elements present in it. The simplest art work has a line and a shape. It is also called line art or shape art. Often, simple straight or curved lines are used to create a shape. And people use them conventionally for shape-line art work.

Even if have a shaky hand like that of an infant or an old person, you can still add extra value to your shape art. Otherwise, do it deliberately and consciously to do the art work.

Along the outline of the shape, create wavy, zigzag lines, or scribble loop lines. Your shape-art will give an amazing effect. In the inset picture, shape-art of Lord Ganesha is depicted with wavy-zigzag lines.
