One land, two religions and hate multiplies
Conflicts, violence, bloodshed and fights over religion isn't new in this diversified world but when people of one religion aren't ready to live with the people of another religion on one land, then the longest never-ending conflicts takes birth. Israel-Palestine issues, Islamic–Jewish conflict, Israel–Hamas differences or Israel-Gaza battle, give it any name, but the base of this conflict is known to most of the people "one land two religions and hatred".

The Israel-Palestine conflict started after the World War II, where six million Jewish people died. After the war Jewish people wanted their own state. Britain being the most powerful granted Jewish refugees large part Palestine. The birth place of Jesus was the most appropriate place for Jews to live. Jews claimed their religious right in Palestine. Arabs who were already living in Palestine and neighbouring countries did not accept the new settlement.

In 1948, the war between the two sides took place. After the war Gaza was controlled by Egypt, Jordan and Westbank. On May 14 1948, Israel announced its independence as a Jewish state. Gaza was still controlled by Arab countries. In 1967, six day war was won by Israel. Israel took over Gaza and military troops stayed there. Israel holding complete control and marking its strength, left Gaza in 2005. Hamas took over Gaza after winning the elections. Hamas is known to be a terrorist organization by Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Israel and USA.

Hamas claims that Arabs have the first right on Palestine not the Jews. Thus, Hamas does not assume Israel as country and want Palestine back so that Arab Islamic people can go back to their old homes. With this aim, Hamas says it will use every weapon possible. Since World War II, loss to lives and property from both the sides is marked. And conflict is still not resolved. Israel controls the borders of Gaza and keeps a check on who enters Gaza. Israel monitors every border activity of Gaza. Who enters and who exits is known to Israel. Thousands of 1948, 1967 war refugees live in Gaza strip and other neighbouring parts of the west bank.

Recently after the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens, 20 people were killed in Gaza as Israel rockets attacked the area. Israel blamed terrorist organization Hamas for the killing of teens and decided to attack Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked Israeli military to "take their gloves off," and Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said that Israel is "preparing for a battle against Hamas, which will not end within a few days." Ceasefire of 2012 was broken just because three teenagers were killed. Rockets after rockets and bombs after bombs both Israel and Hamas have left more than 2000 Palestinians and 63 people from Israel dead.

Currently both the rivals are following the 3 day ceasefire dear. Today being the second day of ceasefire Egyptian mediator and negotiator will hold negotiation in Cairo, where major delegations will try and find out the middle path. After a month of killing and bloodshed in Gaza and Israel, this meeting in Cairo can bring peace at last. Hopefully!
