Only rational thinking can eliminate terrorism
Terrorism is rooted in religious fanaticism. Fanatics brainwash people and mislead them. Terrorism can be eliminated only by bringing more rationality in our thinking. Blind faith can only lead us to our doom and nowhere else.
TERRORISM TODAY, has rocked the world to the core and is posing a grave threat to the new world order. But what actually is terrorism?
It is not just bombing cities, hijacking planes, massacring people but it is a whole new ideology. Root of terrorism exists in the violence oriented ideology of waging war in the name of God. Yes friends, terrorism has mainly sprung up due to religious fanaticism.
A handful of people, for their own monetary benefits, and for petty privileges, are leading humanity towards Armageddon. They incite people in the name of religion. This is largely due to the people's blind faith in religion. This helps such fanatic people take advantage of them and brainwash them and create militants.
These people are made to believe that they are doing this for God and will attain heaven. But I would like to ask such people, is jihad going to solve problems? Is massacring people going to help religion? Is bombing going to save any religion?
No. On the contrary, it will lead that religion to its doom. No religion in the world propagates violence or supports it. It is we the people who are made to believe in false beliefs.
Some people argue that they or their religion has been treated unfairly in the past. The 'retaliation' in the aftermath of Operation Blue Star in the Golden Temple is one such example. The most recent example is that of the Godhra riots of 2002.
These incidents were horrible and are unparalleled but is unleashing another riot going to help defuse tension? No! Never! Violence for violence solves no problem.
The answer to the question of eliminating terrorism does not lie in bombing terrorist camps, killing militants, inciting people against terrorism because these militants are also misled people.
We should change our basic ideology. We should be more rational in our thinking. Blind faith can only lead to doom and nowhere else.
We humans have a very bad quality of taking revenge. Revenge just widens the gap. We, as humans, on whom God has bestowed the quality of thinking, should understand this and take steps accordingly. Or we will be left counting the days to our end. The world’s end. Wake up, my dear brothers! Wake up!
