Opposition demands inquiry in Bihar MLA's murder
As per eye witness records, the accused was standing in the queue and later forked out a knife from her shawl and stabbed him. repeatedly in the neck when her turn came.
IN A shocking incident that took place in Bihar earlier on Tuesday morning, a sitting Bihar BJP MLA was stabbed to death by a school teacher Rupam Pathak. The victim Raj Kishore Keshri was stabbed at his residence when he was meeting people from his constituency, Purnia.
 
As per eye witness records, the accused was standing in the queue and later forked out a knife from her shawl and stabbed him repeatedly in the neck when her turn came. Keshri was also stabbed in his stomach and heart. The reason of death was identified as excessive bleeding due to spleen burst.

Pathak had accused Keshri of raping her on different occasions over the last three years and she had also filed an FIR against the MLA. Although a case has been registered against Rupam Pathak, she is said to be in a serious condition as people present at the MLA'ss residence assaulted her badly. She was later admitted to Purnia hospital under police protection.

Meanwhile, the Congress later demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter. Premchandra Mishra, Bihar's Congress spokesperson said that they strongly condemn the killing and demanded a judicial inquiry into it.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was also in touch with the Director General of Police and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
