Osama's one-man army failed him
The closing years of Osama bin Laden saw him a lonely man. Bored too. His courier was his one-man army but in the end this man proved to be the chink in his armour.
NO TELEPHONE, no Internet, no mobile and no new fangled gadgets to communicate with the powers that be all over the world. Bored to death. A true picture indeed of the giant among men but reduced to a pygmy. The name of the man you are pitying is Osama bin Laden, the most dreaded terrorist of the world. Confined to two-room personal space in the three storey house, the founder of Al Qaida was still active mentally in mid-year 2011. Indeed question marks were raised on his physical fitness. His kidneys had let him down and he perforce had to see the doctor periodically.
The rest is history. What an irony of fate; the man who ruled the hearts of Muslim men in Pakistan and beyond could no get even the proverbial "two yards of space for burial"i n his home country, Saudi Arabia or in his adopted counry, Pakistan.

Once upon a time every able bodied male in Muslim countries considered himself to be a soldier of Allah's army waging war against the notorious Kafirs all over the world. If a soldier attained martyrdom, there were many more to replace him as a well trained Jihadi. How sad the situation suddenly changed when the NATO under the UN flag registered a couple of victories. Old guards had now cattle to tend to and children to be dresed up before entering the school premises. Osama needed no company while planning a terrorist attack on a western objective. But he needed man power to deliver his dak or fetch medicines that his fifth and last wife needed. He had just one errand boy under his direct command. It is understood that it was this courrier that revealed Osama's best kept secrets public.Thus the one-man army of his had joined the ranks of deserters. Osama bin-Laden mused and mused but found no satisfactory answer. What went wrong that shook the FAITH OF EVEN HIS ONE-MAN ARMY? We will wait for a logical answer at an appropriate time.
