THE ACADEMY Awards are not only handed out to some of the best and most talented actors, actresses, directors and producers in the world but they’re also a chance for some of Hollywood’s hottest stars to rock the red carpet and model stunning gowns and suits from the world’s top fashion designers.

 

The 82nd Academy Award red carpet was spectacular; there were the classics who know what looks good on them and always play it safely; the haute couture group that wear things seen on the runways weeks earlier, or go for a vintage from some house of fashion; this year there were some risk takers too. Love them or hate them, at least they tried something different.
