Our General Singh under this Preference Scheme was allotted a 420 sq meters Plot at Panchkula, at a much discounted rate of Rs 22 lacs. The market price of the plot at the time of allotment stood at Rs 1.5 crores, which was about 88 % lesser. You can’t imagine the cost of the plot on this date.
Our General now has requested to change his allotted plot with a corner one, with the plea that his mother may feel suffocated within other two side plots and it might affect her health.
Supposing yet another Air Marshal, an allottee in the same area is asked to surrender or change the position of his plot whose mother also is suffering asthma, will it be possible and desirable to shift his plot; indeed not.
Our General should be happy enough to get such a big sized plot at a much discounted rate. Asking favour after favour normally does not work out.
Just imagine his position when HUDA authorities would inform him that his request can’t be completed.
