Our 'loyal' politicians understand language of votes only

As the nation celebrates the martyrdom of MK Gandhi, Father of Nation, let me make it clear that our politicians only work for their personal interests. They will join a social cause, only to derive the political mileage.

IN OUR country, we witness an agitation of some kind daily and almost all political parties join their hands. Even though the movement has ended, they would still be fighting. It is just a show off to let down the central government or defame a ruling party or an authority.

These politicians never fight for any social cause but they only concentrate on their personal interests. They never have time to think/ remember those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom without any personal gains. The freedom fighters were indeed very loyal to their country and the countrymen; there is no doubt about it. They faced lathi charge, had taken bullets on their chests, etc but now a shoe thrown on a politician is a serious matter for our so called politicians who take lot of oaths before they win an assembly or a parliament seat.

Today the county celebrated the martyrdom of the father of the nation, M K Gandhi who was the main instrument in getting us freedom from the British rule. He was Bar at Law and the money for him would never be an issue. His fight was without any self-interest unlike our politicians who are on the stage only to grab power and money with hardly any loyalty for the Nation. They talk very high but in acts, at times they are even worse than animals. They work only for their personal interests.
