Big B's son Abhishek plays his father in the film, whereas Vidya Balan plays the role of Auro's mother in the movie produced by AB Corporation. Paa will be released by Big Pictures and is likely to debut in 20 countries.

BOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR Amitabh Bachchan's Paa directed by R Balakrishnan will release this Friday and would be on top agenda of the Big B fans as well as the critics. Paa is a movie about a rare father-son, son-father story where Amitabh plays Auro, a 13-year old, who is suffering from a rare medical condition called Progeria, which causes premature ageing of children.

To play this role, Amitabh Bachchan took extreme pains to look like a child suffering from Progeria in Paa and his make up was done by an international artist. The actor reportedly had problems wearing the extensive makeup made of clay but being a professional did not throw any tantrums.

Auro, the child played by Amitabh in Paa is shown as a normal kid but he looks very old due to the disease. His mother (Vidya Balan ) is a doctor and is father (Abhishek) is a politician. The film is produced at a cost of 15 crores and is produced by Abhishek Bachchan, who makes a debut as a producer with 'Paa'.
