PAK democracy in danger!
By the looks of the way things are moving it seems that that the Martial Law is the only answer for the crumbling Pakistan Democracy. With the slew of corruption cases, the democracy is going haywire and that seems to be the right decision of the moment.

THE TUSSLE between the Army and the Civilian Government continues. Since the independence of Pakistan, there has been a Martial Law for a number of years and once again it is heading towards the Military Rule only. The Ex Prime Minister Mr Nawaz Shariff said that the Govt. has no right to be in power since they are not abiding even to the Supreme Court’s orders.

The Pakistan Government is under increasing pressure from the Army and the Supreme Court. None of the Civilian Government ever completed its full term in Pakistan, which is a record. The main cause for concern is the removal of a Retired General from the post of the Defence Secretary by Prime Minister Mr Galani and corruption cases against the President Mr Zaradari..
The PAK Army Chief also recently held a number of meetings with his Corp Generals and Senior Staff Officials to discuss the unrest in the country but the details could not be made public. The discussion can be well understood.

However, unofficially, the Commanders have decided that the Army would stand behind the Apex Court, which has warned that the Prime Minister could be disqualified if the Govt. failed to support high profile corruption cases by January 16, 2012.

Even the Ex Cricket Captain Mr Imran Khan is also supporting their views. Under the prevailing circumstances either the President or the Prime Minister will be asked to resign and go for fresh Election. The worst case scenario would be that the Military Rule takes the charge of the Country once again, which appears to be more significant.
