Pakistan asks Indian pilgrims to defeat Modi: What is the game-plan?
Recently 3500 Indian pilgrims visited Pakistan and while they were about to return to India, Pakistan Government hosted a dinner for them in which these pilgrims were officially asked by the Pakistan Government's spokesman that they should defeat Modi in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. The spokesman did not stop at that, he further advised that while they go back to India, they should also convince and persuade their fellow citizens to defeat Modi at any cost.

The statement coming officially from Pakistan is a no surprise. The only surprise in the statement is about its timing. One can argue that what was the need for Pakistan to issue such statement when in India itself, there are lot of so called secular leaders asking the same thing for the last 12 years about Modi. From Maya to Mulayam, Sonia-Rahul to Manmohan-Priyanka, Lalu to Nitish, Kejriwal to Omar Abdullah, all are only shouting loud on 24 hours and 365 days basis and asking the people to defeat Modi.

Though, there is no common agenda, between these self-declared secular leaders and Pakistan, one would have to understand why Pakistan is so much in panic about Narendra Modi winning the election in India. It is after all our internal matter and how Pakistan is concerned about it? Surprisingly and shockingly, no self declared secular leader so far has condemned this statement from Pakistan as if it is OK for Pakistan to interfere in the internal matters of India.

The reasons for this panic reaction from Pakistan is easy to understand. Pakistan is well known for its Terrorism and there are lots of "Terrorists manufacturing Units" operating in Pakistan. These units are basically responsible for cross border terrorism through their export of terrorism from Pakistan to India. These activities from Pakistan were running so far in an uninterrupted manner as India was being ruled by weak, corrupt and unstable Governments over last few decades.

This is probably for the first time that India is expecting a strong, decisive and stable Government at the Center led by Narendra Modi, who has a no-nonsense record of governance and in all probability once Modi led BJP Government is in place, Pakistan will have to shut down all its "Terrorist Manufacturing Units" as it will be next to impossible to export the terrorism to India under the leadership of Modi Government.

Whether our so called and self declared secular politician opposing the Modi will be able to stop Modi from becoming the next PM or whether Pakistan will be able to stop Modi, only time will tell and we all will have to wait till 16th May 2014 to see whether these anti-Modi forces have succeeded in their efforts or not.
