Pakistan bans media coverage of terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba
The interior ministry of Pakistan on Monday banned the Pakistani media from covering terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and Falah-e-Insaniyat (FIF) under the National Action Plan (NAP) as per media reports.

ARY News reported that the PEMRA (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) had issued a notification in this regard.

The move comes just after the US and the United Nations had included JuD in the list of terrorist organizations.

It seems that India's efforts of exposing Pakistan on the terror issue are beginning to pay rich dividends as JuD chief Hafiz Saeed faces charges in India for masterminding the 2008 Mumbai terror attack in which more than 160 people had lost their lives.

The NAP was formed in January 2015 after an attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar in December 2014. By forming NAP the government of Pakistan and the Army are intent on taking action against all terror organizations thriving in Pakistan.
