Strategic Affairs expert Brahma Chellaney sarcastically attacked Indian government over its cold reaction to what he called a barbaric incident. “In one of the worst acts of Pakistani army savagery in peace time, two Indian troops were chopped by raiders, who took away one severed head. India's reaction? PM, who dreams of open borders, mum,” tweeted Chellaney.

Media reports say that Pakistan border action team could be behind this inhumane act. The action team allegedly comprises Baluchistan regiment and SSG Commandos.

Recently after the visit of Pakistan's interior minister Rehman Malik, India had eased down visa restriction to the citizens from across the border. Along with this Pakistan's cricket team has just concluded its visit to India after a gap of many years. Both the countries have begun dialogue process at various levels to strengthen their ties, especially the bilateral trade. However, after this inhuman act by the Pakistan, demand is growing up in India to snap all ties with the former.

Group chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, Anand Mahindra criticized the brutal killings of the two Indian soldiers and compared it with ancient times’ strategies to create fear. “Beheading & mutilation were ancient tools to strike fear in opponents' hearts. Today, they only make us angrier, stronger & more determined,” tweeted Anand Mahindra.
