Pakistan Vs New Zealand T20 World Cup match: Update
New Zealand were defeated by South Africa in their first match, while Pakistanis lost to England. Both Kiwis and the Pakistani teams are finding it difficult to score freely as their batsmen have not been able find their moorings in the Caribbean
NEW ZEALAND will take on Pakistan in the Super Eight Group E match today on May 8 as race for semifinal berths hots up in the T20 world cup. The New Zealand Vs Pakistan will be a key match for both the teams as they have lost their earlier matches and a loss here would surely mean an exit from the tournament, unless some miracle takes place later.

New Zealand were defeated by South Africa in their first match, while Pakistanis lost to England. Both Kiwis and the Pakistani teams are finding it difficult to score freely as their batsmen have not been able find their moorings in the Caribbean.

Being more dependeant on flamboyant power hitters, it is but normal that their batting lineups click only on some days situations as pinch hitters are not able to maintain consistency.
Pakistanis are defending their crown in the tournament but the manner in which they are playing has proved that would remain the Mr Inconsistents of the world cricket. Barring Umar Akmal and Salman Butt, none of the players has managed to show some spunk and unless Afridi and Misbah-ul Haq come good, the Pakistanis will face trouble against any opposition.

Not only batting but the bowling too has failed to impress both the fans as well as the opposition. Coupled with shabby fielding, the Pakistani team looks as if it has come to lose instead of defending the title, much to the chagrin of home fans.

The Kiwis, meanwhile, are also not in great shape as their top pacer Shane Bond has failed to click in the West Indian conditions. The batters have also not been able to deliver the goods and it remains to be seen how they perform against the Pakistanis today.

The Pakistan Vs New Zealand match is evenly poised and is likely to produce quality cricket.
