Pakistan's brutality in PoK surfaces: Govt expresses concern
After Pakistani forces' brutal behaviour against the residents of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) was exposed by an Indian news channel yesterday, the neighbouring country responded to it claiming that the visuals are 'doctored'. It also said that it was a 'propaganda' of the Indian media.

Reportedly, huge protests are going on against Pakistani administration in several areas of PoK as can be also seen in the video released by CNN-IBN news channel. Some of the most affected areas include Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli. The Pakistani administration is using force to suppress rebellion in the state, which is a clear violation of the human rights.

Commenting on the brutality of Pak forces in PoK, Union Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs, Jitender Singh, who is also a Lok Sabha MP from J&K's Udhampur constituency said due to discriminatory behaviour of Pakistan against the residents PoK there had been a simmering discontent among people in this region.

As per a ibnlive.com's report, Singh said, "It is because of the discrimination suffered by this region as compared to other regions of Pakistan. This is not in terms of development but also in the basic facilities provided with respect to health care and education."

Main opposition party, Congress while reacting to the visuals said that the Central government has a great opportunity now to take up the matter at the United Nations.

Meanwhile Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry, have called the visuals of atrocities 'propaganda'. Chaudhary said that Pakistan has always raised its voice for Kashmiris and it will continue to extend political, moral and diplomatic support for them.

Although Pakistan is silent on the allegations of the atrocities, but, the Indian media on several occasions have produced evidences of call of freedom and human rights violation from PoK.
