A parent should always remember that your child is not going to remain as a baby or a pre-schooler forever. Time flies in lightening speed, and your baby is also going to grow up soon. Love connects the children with their parents; usually it is not possible to spoil your child with love, but the consequences which makes so, giving a child things in place of love, for example material possession, leniency etc. can spoil them. So, always love your child genuinely.
Put yourself in their shoes
More often or not, children repeatedly ask the same question and you feel very much irritated. Then put yourself in their shoes and try to think about the time when you were a child and felt the same way. And if possible try to allow them do small things, which they love doing and which does not effect them physically or mentally.
Develop healthy eating habits
Put in a conscious effort to provide your child with healthy food. Try to incorporate good eating habits in them. If the children eat healthy food from young age, they will continue it in their adulthood as well. Food habits are something, which are developed at a young age so, if we mould them initially, they will live longer.
Make your child self-reliant
Try to make your child independent, give them the opportunity to do simple tasks, without your guidance. This will help in improving their self-confidence and self-esteem. Never do their homework, just help them in the prcoess of completing their work.
These are somethings parents should know while parenting, which can help them during the journey of parenthood. Finally, remember to be a good role model for your child as parents are the biggest role models for children. Memories of 'parent-child relationship' are priceless to every parent and child, which holds a special place in every parent and child’s heart.
