THE ADDITIONAL Principal Secretary conveyed his gratitude and congratulations to Mr. Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, for overall management of her visit and Mr. Dev Raj Sirohiwall, District Information and Public Relations Officer for outstanding and extraordinary discharge of his duties and successful press liaison and media management for coverage of her one-day visit to the holy city.

The Deputy Commissioner Mr Brar felicitated Mr. Sirohiwall for his excellent work performed during the President's visit. Later, the news clips and media coverage album was presented by DIPRO to the Deputy Commissioner which was proposed to be sent to the Rashtarpati Bhawan. Mr. Brar also thanked the mediapersons for their valuable positive contribution.

In Kurukshetra University, the Vice Chancellor Lt Gen. Dr DDS Sandhu thanked the teaching and non-teaching fraternity for their dedicated work to make the President's visit a memorable event for the university. Addressing a gathering in the Crush hall of the university, he said the stature of the oldest university of Haryana has risen steeply after this convocation which witnessed two eminent heads of two nations, India and Mauritius, on one dais to share academic moments. He exhorted the teachers, students and employees to work hard more to take the university to pinnacle.
