PDP, Congress, NC joining hands to ensure no one from Jammu becomes J&K CM: Shri Ram Sena
Shri Ram Sena's Jammu and Kashmir (SRS J&K) State president Rajiv Mahajan has said that the recent assembly elections result has exposed the real face of Kashmiri leadership. Truth has come out itself as all the Kashmiri leaders irrespective of their party affiliations and ideologies are mulling a proposal to join hands to keep Jammu out of power.

He said the possibility of some politician from Jammu province leading the state has unnerved the Kashmiri leaders. National Conference, Congress and People's Democratic Party are joining hands to see to it that no politician from Jammu becomes Chief Minister of the state.

Kashmiris cannot see anyone from Jammu as Chief Minister of the state; Mahajan said and added that they are pursuing the formula purely on communal lines. Mahajan said this is an eye opener for Jammu people and urged them to remain united to fight for the cause of Jammu region and to do away with Kashmiri domination.

Mahajan stated that there is no provision in the state constitution which says that the office of the Chief Minister is the sole property of Kashmir. Anyone from the state can become the Chief Minister provided he has the required support behind him. The state needs a government that treats all sections of society equally at all levels.

Mahajan further said that Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad mulled a proposal of grand alliance between NC, PDP and Congress. Omar Abdullah offered unconditional support to PDP in formation of government. He alleged that all this drama has been planned to keep Jammu out of power.

Mahajan questioned that when a Muslim can become President of India, a Sikh can become Prime Minister, then why not a Hindu from Jammu can become Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State.

Do the Kashmiri leaders have some answers? If yes, they should come with clarification. Kashmiri leaders should remember that the today's Jammu is a different ballgame and they would commit a serious blunder if they dared to take the people of Jammu province for a ride, Mahajan added.
