The Pentagon in the US is likely to take legal action against an ex-Navy SEAL who has authored a book about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
IT IS being alleged that the book has violated the signed agreement of not divulging classified information by the ex-Navy SEAL in the form of firsthand account of the killing of the al Qaeda mastermind.
Though the book has not been released yet but its previews and the news about it has revealed that it has a first-person description of the killing of Osama along with details of the raid.
The book 'No Easy Day', due to be released September 4, is said to describe, in detail, the mission of the US that killed Osama bin Laden. It is authored in the format of military memoir of "Mark Owen", a pseudonymous ex-Navy SEAL.
The peek-sneak reviews inform that the book contains the details of the raid on the premises of Osama in Pakistan and his killing. These reviews have created controversy in the US on the operation that killed Osama.
The US administration deems the book as a material breach and violation of the non-disclosure agreements by the ex-Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette, who has written the book under the pseudo name of Mark Owen.
