A conference was recently held on acupressure research, training and treatment in Allahabad. The Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Syed Rafat Alam inaugurated the conference.
THE THIRTEENTH annual national conference and advance training programme of acupressure research, training and treatment began recently at Rajarshi Tandon Mandapam at Allahabad. Chief Justice, Allahabad High Court justice Syed Rafat Alam inaugurated the conference and lauded the role played by the institute in spreading knowledge about acupressure for the benefit of masses.
He exhorted the participants to properly learn advance techniques of acupressure and make it a medium to serve the humanity. Presiding over the programme Justice V.K.Chaturvedi said he hoped that acupressure would also be considered a first line of treatment in the near future due to its healing properties. The institute’s president M.P. Khemka delivered oath to the participants of mitigating the suffering of mankind with acupressure.

General secretary B.P. Shukla apprised the participants about various correspondence diploma/degree courses in acupressure conducted by different universities in association with Acupressure Research, Training and Treatment Institute. The training course coordinator K.C. Goel gave the welcome address. Director J.P. Agarwal spoke on the various benefits of acupressure and its role in treating chronic diseases. On the occasion, the chief guests released the next edition of A Treatise on Advance Acupressure/Acupuncture and Chinese Acupressure Handbook Part-I.
