People feel that PM Modi's claim of returning to power in 2019 is only a sham
Delivering his concluding address at the BJP's national executive meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, roaring like a lion, said that opposition parties having ideological differences and are no challenge to him.

His deputy, Amit Shah, thundered that they will come to power in 2019 and rule for fifty years, adding that nobody can remove them. But it is common feeling that PM Modi has lost the people's mandate and is hiding his weaknesses in a manner which can be best described as the 'Dutch Courage'.

Making fun of the grand alliance, Modi said that the alliance's aim was only to remove him from power. Political circles are still decoding the confidence behind the tall claims of the Modi-Shah duo of returning to power. Will they contest the elections on "Hindutva' agenda, this is the question being discussed in political, media and official circles! RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has already given broader hints of this design by asking the Hindus to unite or face the worst.

Modi, it is widely believed, is serving the interests of big corporate houses, be it Ambni or Adani, at the cost of the poor and downtrodden masses. Modi has checked the media by arm twisting. Nothing positive is expected from the media which is by and large controlled by the big corporate houses. They often dance to tunes of the holders of power.

Social media is the next target of Modi for clinging on to power. The strong IT cell of the BJP has so far failed to check the criticism against Modi on social media, and hence he now plans to curb the social media.

But, will he too, like Indira Gandhi, declare an emergency?

I open this question to the readers!
