People respond to story 'How Hooda's wife ran the show during his tenure as Haryana CM?'
My story that how during Chief Ministership of Bhupinder Singh Hooda, his wife, Asha Hooda, used to call the shots from behind the curtain has evoked good response.

Surender Hooda, the journalist who had managed the media for the Congress during the 2009 Assembly polls has shared a very interesting incident about the clout of Asha Hooda and her PR skills.

He recalls that there was a regional TV channel "Haryana News" headed by JK Jain. The Congress was not comfortable with his TV shows which were against the party.

He says, "I made an attempt to fix up a meeting with JK Jain. A meeting was fixed up at Karnal Haveli. I was surprised on receiving a call just after reaching Haveli from the then OSD to CM Haryana, MS Chopra.  His opening line was, 'Where are you?' I explained him about the situation as I walked towards the suite where Jain was staying. As soon as I entered his suite, I got another call, this time from Asha Hooda, who did not want me to deal with Jain. She said something citing Captain Amarinder Singh's experience with Jain. She was well concerned about the situation. I was surprised to see her concern and information about my activities. Anyway, I assured her of a good out come from the situation."

"And then Jain became Congress' friend.... She was very much concerned about the government and its functioning. She has good PR skills," adds Surender Hooda.
