The youtube video of two little Chilean girls tying balloons with messages on them to stray dogs with heart-warming messages, inspired the people of Gurgaon so much that they started their own move.
four and a half minute youtube clip ''I am here!'' is an initiative
to bring light to the lives of stray animals and introduce itself as
an urban intervention that seeks to raise awareness about the animals
living on the streets. The video has inspired the Gurgaon
people in a
way that they did something similar in the Galleria Market. The
residents of Millenium City went around the market, tying balloons
with messages on them to the stray dogs in the area. With no fear and
without any queer feelings from both sides, the people and the dogs
as well enjoyed the drive.

that the video transformed the
way people see dogs on the streets by tying balloons to their necks
with messages saying things like 'hug me', 'don't abandon me', etc.
It was a good idea to remind the people about the dogs on the
streets, deserted by the love that the usual pets recieve in houses.
It is important to remind people about the small and simple things
that can spread happiness.

roadblocks.The Millennium City residents started with a few dogs in
Galleria Market, but there were people who opposed it saying they
were making the dogs uncomfortable.

initiative, she was interested to join.
balloons were tied with a satin ribbon instead of a thread which
could have made the dogs uneasy. This helped the dogs get some
attention, petting and food, being worth the effort.
