AS THE charismatic Barack Obama became the 44th president of the superpower, the whole world seemed to enjoy the advent of hope and they drowned themselves in a sea of happiness. For the first time in history, an individual has been elected from whom the whole world expect some or the other thing in a positive mode. Tears rolled down and people shouting the slogans of hope which Obama symbolises proved this.
Being an Indian, I plead to the president of the superpower to help India to get rid of the venom of terrorism. The major obstacle in the path of washing out terrorism is the recognition of the culprit, which has been torturing India and massacring its innocent citizens for over 50 years. India shouts on the top of her voice to punish Pakistan but the support of some nations to Pakistan helps Pakistan in standing stern with its inhuman motives.
The entire world is aware of the Mumbai attack and to the whole drama which followed after that. The proofs, which were provided by India, stating the hand of Pakistan nationals in the attacks, were denied. And not only this, the minister who dared to accept the true fact was dismissed the very next day.
Pakistan is the hub of terrorism and none can deny that the government of Pakistan itself promotes it. For many of you, this statement may sound too harsh but what would you call a nation which gives shelter to the terrorists? What would you call a nation where terror camps are run openly and the happiness increases with the number of dead by their bombs?
You (Obama) are the choice of the world and our good wishes for you come out from the core of our hearts. In this time of distress, you have emerged as a savior of this earth. Your nation suffered 9/11 at the hands of Pakistan and my motherland suffered 26/11 and keeps suffering every day. It’s not only India but the cry of the whole world to save this earth from the inhuman deeds which will bring only destruction. If the issue of terrorism and the nations giving shelter to the heinous crime is not tackled immediately then the whole world will have to be prepared for its doomsday. There is no need to repeat the bare truth that a third world war will not leave even a single person alive on this earth as the number and power of weapons present with nations today can destroy the earth not only once but fifteen times.
India once again wishes you a very happy presidential term and a happy reign to the Americans as well as the entire world.
