PM Narendra Modi takes charge at PMO; portfolios of ministers announced
Prime Minister Narendra took charge of his office today in the morning. Soon after taking the charge at the PMO, Modi sent the list of portfolios of his council of ministers to the president. The Rashtrapati Bhavan has released the final official list of various ministers and portfolios.
PM Narendra Modi has kept the department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space and all important policy issues and all other portfolios not allocated to any Minister with himself.

The various Cabinet, state ministers with independent charge and state ministers have started taking charge of their respective ministries. Arun Jaitley is the new finance minister with additional charge of the defence ministry, Rajnath Singh is Home Minister, Sushma Swaraj is foreign affairs minister.

Here's the official list of ministers and their portfolios:
