Police forced to file FIR against kidnappers in Ghoorpur, Allahabad
Thousands of people marched in protest and assembled at the Ghoorpur crossing to vent their anger against kidnapping and sale of 2 children and police and political protection to the kidnappers. All shops in the market downed shutters in protest.
According to a press release issued by Mohd Hanif and Veerendra Kumar Jaiswal, the Convenors of Manav Taskari Virodhi Manch, the kidnappers Dadhi Yadav and Tirre Yadav have been roaming around campaigning for an Allahabad MP.

People are demanding registration of a fresh FIR booking of them as Gangsters along with their arrest and recovery of the children. In this case two FIRs had been lodged earlier, one in 2003 and one in 2012 and the case was closed without making any arrest. The same accused have also been involved in another case of kidnapping 9 boys in 2009 in which the boys were recovered but they were not arrested and the case was closed.

Earlier people had protested on April 3. SO of Ghoorpur police station in Allahabad had requested for 4 days time to take action on the accused, but instead he lodged a case against 225 protestors.

A delegation led by Manav Taskari Virodhi Manch had met SSP Manjil Saini on last Saturday and apprised her with the facts along with a complaints and an affidavit.

Later SDM Bara and CO Karchana received a fresh complaint, agreed to include Tirre's name, book them under Immoral Trafficking Act 1956, Child Labour Act 1986 and Bonded Labour Act 1976 and present the matter before the SSP within 2 days.

Two boys Neeraj and Mumtaz aged about 16 and 17 yrs, residents of Ghoorpur went missing from Meja on April 7, 2003. An FIR lodged then gave no result.

In 2012 one worker belonging to Varanasi came and gave information that the kidnapping was done by Rajbahadur Yadav alias 'Dadhi', and Mata Prasad Yadav alias 'Tirre', and sold off to Munnawar Ali Bag House, Bombay. Another FIR was lodged in PS Koraon against the accused but no arrests were made and the matter was closed. Police teams sent to Mumbai refused to conduct any raids there.

Manav Taskari Virodhi Manch has alleged that there were several cases of such kidnappings in the area where the kidnapped boys are sold off to industries where they are beaten up and forced to labour or sold to big corporate hospitals where their kidneys are stolen as was revealed in Nithari case
