Police not to be blamed for Sector 56 thefts: RWA President
The residents of Jalvayu Towers in Sector 56, Gurgaon are facing a harsh time with multiple thefts reported in their society. This well developed residency has faced many thefts in a short span of time.
There was a buzz that the residents were blaming the police for their lack of responsibility, but Jalvayu Tower's Residents' Welfare Association's (RWA) President Air Commodore V.K. Sharma cleared the rumour and said, ''The police has been very supportive. They asked us to take some requisite actions and we immediately followed their orders. A large number of CCTV cameras have been installed and are under strict surveillance. A new group of guards have been stationed within the society to closely monitor the movements within the society.'' Hence, this cleared the fact that the police were completing their responsibilities.

Just a few days before, a doctor's house was ransacked in Sector 56. In the same sector, security guards of Sanskriti Apartments, caught a man after he was captured on CCTV camera leaping over the boundary walls and creeping around in the society for over eight minutes.

Sharma also said ''There have been six thefts in two days. We have lodged an FIR to which necessary actions are being taken by the police.''
A man was also caught snooping in Vigyan Vihar, in the sector, on May 9. Five thefts were reported from Jalvuyu Towers in April as well.
