The administration in AP is losing control and the Chief Minister is almost helpless. To maintain peace para military forces have been deployed but the situation continues to remain turbulent.
THE POLITICAL situation in Andhra Pradesh is uncertain and the Centre's dilly-dallying attitude has further complicated the matters. No one knows what will be the future of the state and how the Centre will resolve the issue.
The Telangana issue become graver after all the 13 ministers from that region, tendered their resignation to Chief Minister Rosaiah last week as they all sought a time bound programme to form a separate Telangana state. The situation came to such a pass that Nagam Janardhana Reddy a TDP legislator was pushed and punched by Osmania University students last week, when he had gone there to express his solidarity along with fellow MLAs Erraballi Dayakara Rao and Revanta Reddy. Soon after they entered the campus a large group of students chased them. Unfortunately only Nagam Janardhana Reddy was caught by them and the others fled. Seven cars were damaged by students. Later the injured MLA was provided protection by the police.
Protesting against the incident TDP MLAs held a dharna on Friday and alleged that the incident happened with the knowledge of the TRS and the Congress. The JCA has announced that the incident was unfortunate and it has no role in it. Osmania University students have said no student was involved in the incident.
