Poll numbers reveal Obama's unpopularity
Barack Obama, who became the US President in 2008, had showed lots of promises, stating he would bring employment. But a poll conducted by Wall Street Journal/NBC, indicated that only 37% people are happy with his performance.

ACCORDING TO a poll that had been conducted by Wall Street Journal/NBC, only 37 per cent of people polled were satisfied with the way the Obama administration has been handling the US economy. Many hands are pointing towards the President of the US for the downfall in their economy. One of the most important problems that the US President has not been able to address for a long time now has been unemployment, which is increasing every day.

It has also believed that 54% of the voters have already written off President Obama, as the 2012 US Presidential elections is scheduled for November 6, 2012. Out of the total number of people who participated in the poll, 77% of them said that the country is on the wrong path. With these kind of poll figures, we can definitely understand that people in the US are definitely not happy with how things are shaping up in their country. It is testing times for President Obama, as he needs to act upon it quickly so as to get his voters in the right frame of mind before the election procedure kicks off.

The polls have been released at a time when the US President is scheduled to make an important speech on Thursday, which would be related to the unemployment problems and the structuring of the new jobs, which could in fact, play a major role in reinstating him as the President for the next four years. Some experts believe, Republican presidential nominees, Mr Mitt Romney and Texas Governor Rick Perry, could give the present US president a run for his money. But it is too early to make a call about it at present. Mitt Romney has said that he has plans to reduce corporate taxes along with creating employment for the US citizens.
