Pope Francis in his message to Curia sternly warns pedophile priests to 'turn themselves in' or prepare for 'divine justice'
Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI have exchanged Christmas greetings and gifts to set off the Christmas celebration. Pope Francis' message to Curia has been delivered and its text released.

Vatican News wrote that the Holy Father said that Christmas filled us with joy and made us certain that no sin will ever be greater than God's mercy.

According to Greg Burke, the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Pope Francis' Christmas message to the Roman Curia on Friday observed that there were 'grave scandals in Church, but light stronger than darkness'.

Bruke in his comment said that Pope Francis  was 'firmly against abuse' and he  'did not mince words' in speaking to the Curia about sex abuse and added 'abuser priests are part of a web of corruption' and 'vicious wolves who devour innocent souls.'

Burke further commented that Pope Francis praised those journalists who have honestly and objectively uncovered 'priest predators and have made the voices of victims heard' and promised 'to take abuse cases seriously and will not cover them up.'

"In the face of these monstrosities", the Pope said "even one case is too many", Burke said.

"God's light continues to shine at Christmas, and the Church will emerge from these troubled times purified and more beautiful," stated Pope Francis in his message.

Pope Francis urged the pedophile priests to turn themselves in or prepare for 'divine justice' by stating, "To those who abuse minors, I would say this: Convert and hand yourself over to human justice, and prepare for divine justice."
