Since President Obama is scheduled to be in Chicago the following day, he will take a birthday dinner with friends and will spend the night in his Hyde Park home. Barack Obama will use Thursday to tour Ford auto plant in Chicago and attend several Democratic fundraisers before returning to the White House.

On the eve of President Obama's birthday, the Republican National Committee has gifted him a new website. Obama fans, web surfers who sign onto the new page will be presented with more than a dozen cards to choose from. The Democratic National Committee-backed Organizing for America is collecting birthday card signatures on its website. First lady Michelle Obama wrote an email for her husband, Barack Obama, "Every year, our family tries to come up with a fun way to wish Barack a happy birthday."

President Barack Obama was born on 4th August 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. He is the first African American to hold the office. Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
