President Obama will be successful in guiding our nation, prays Romney after conceding defeat
After the US presidential poll results, Republican challenger Mitt Romney, 65, while conceding defeat wished President Barack Obama a successful second term. 'I pray President Obama will be successful in guiding our nation,' said Romney after losing the electoral race to the US presidency.
AFTER HEARING about his defeat over the networks, Mitt Romney called President
Barack Obama to congratulate him on his victory.
According to Romney, US was facing great challenges and he prayed that Obama should make nation's economy resurgent once again. "I so wished that I would have been able to fulfil your wishes but the nation has shown trust in the other leader. I honestly pray for him and the nation," Romney conveyed to his supporters while thanking them for the wonderful campaign.
The Republican Party's nominee for presidential election, Romney, is an American businessman who has served as the 70th Governor of Massachusetts.
Romney campaigned for the Republican presidential nomination to win enough caucuses and primaries to be nominated with his chosen running mate, Representative Paul Ryan to fight election against incumbent President Obama.
