Preview - T20 Champions League: Stallions Vs Hampshire
The winner of the match between Stallions and Hampshire stands no chance of making it to the main rounds of the T20 Champions League, as two teams Auckland Aces and Yorkshire have already made it to the main draw. But, none of the sides will take the match lightly, as there is a lot of pride at stake.

TWO T20 domestic champions, Hampshire and Sialkot Stallions are clashing later today at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg in the ongoing Champions League T20 qualifier. Both teams are playing only for pride, as a victory would not grant either of them a spot in the main round of the League. Auckland Aces and Yorkshire have already made it to the main draw of the competition as the ninth and tenth team of the competition.

Both the teams lost their opening matches against Auckland Aces, which has shut their doors, as Auckland Aces have already got 8 points on the table. But, these two teams have lot to play for. Being champions of their respective nations, they would want to show their class and what has really brought their teams to the qualifier stage. Many teams dream to play in the T20 Champions League, but not everyone succeeds. At least, these two teams came close to it.

Stallions were expected to reach the main draw of the competition with the quality of players that were at disposal in their squad. Their team led by Shoaib Malik and players such as Umar Gul, Imran Nazir, along with some youngsters looked a formidable side, but their performance let them down. They have got a chance to prove themselves against the English champions, Hampshire, who also boast of players such as Dmitri Mascrenhas, Glenn Maxwell, James Adams etc. The South African conditions may just suit the English player better.

The match is not going to be an easy outing for either side as lots of pride is at stake during the match. Both teams are looking to sign out of the qualifiers by opening their account in the points table.
