Preview of match 12: CSK looking for third consecutive win in today's game against KXIP
Chennai Super Kings look for their third consecutive win of season 11 of the Indian Premier League when they clash with Kings XI Punjab tonight at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Winning their first two games against the Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings have had a perfect return to the tournament after a 2-year exile.

CSK come into today's game after a four-day break since their thrilling win against Kolkata Knight Riders. CSK will now look to better their performance. However, as a setback for Chennai, Suresh Raina has been ruled out for at least two matches after sustaining a calf muscle injury during the match against KKR, while Kedhar Jhadhav has already been ruled out for rest of the tournament.

Also, CSK skipper MS Dhoni is yet to show his batting skills in the tournament, having failed to perform up to his reputation. Supporters are hoping that overseas players like Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo and Sam Billings will rise to the occasion and do the job for the team in absence of their injured teammates.

Kings XI Punjab has so far won one game and lost one in IPL 2018. The team won their season opener against the Delhi Daredevils, before suffering a defeat against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match.

Kings XI Punjab is struggling with its batting form which has so far failed to give momentum. Star batsman Yuvraj Singh is yet to make any significant contribution to the team. Mayank Agarwal has made some good starts but somehow failed to capitalise.

With 17 matches against each other in the tournament overall, Chennai lead with 10 wins.
