Preview of match 16: KXIP vs SRH - patchy Punjab faces invincible Sunrisers
With a win record of 100 per cent in the tournament so far, Sunrisers Hyderabad turn up against the Kings XI Punjab tonight with the hope of keeping their record intact. KXIP have a tough task ahead as they face an unbeaten SRH at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday.

Hyderabad has stayed at the top of the table by defeating the Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders so far. SRH, in all three matches, had won the toss and elected to bowl first, a trend which has been followed this season by all teams.

The bowlers of SRH led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Billy Stanlake have done impressive work by restricting the opponents to achievable targets making it easier for their batsmen.

Sunrisers also have some of the best spinners playing in the IPL including Shakib al Hasan and Rashid Khan who have proven to be deadly. With the likes of skipper Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey their batting compliments the bowling well.

On the other hand with two wins in three matches so far, KXIP have had their ups and down. After their win over Chennai Super Kings in the last game, KXIP will be high on confidence when they play at home today.

KXIP will expect a power packed performance from Chris Gayle, who is not only back in the team but also back in form having scored 63 in 33 in his maiden outing for the Kings in their last match.  KXIP will look up to skipper Ravichandran Ashwin and Afghan leggie Mujeeb ur Rahman to keep the pressure on SRH with their bowling.

With just two overall wins against Hyderabad, Punjab have a tough task today.
