Preview: VIVO IPL 2018 match 11 – RCB vs RR
In what is said to be the match of the royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off against the Rajasthan Royals in match 11 of VIVO IPL 2018. Royal Challengers Bangalore having lost their opening match away from home, will look to power through the weekend by posting a strong victory in front of their home crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Ending up at the end of the points table in the last season, Bangalore wants to avoid such embarrassment this season. On paper, the team is said to be one of the most balanced sides. With the likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum, Quinton de Kock in their top four batting slots can prove to be lethal for any opposition. But their concern is the middle order as Sarfaraz Khan and Mandeep Singh seem to lack experience.

Playing at Jaipur after a long gap of five years, Rajasthan began their season opener with a disappointing 9 wicket loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad. While in their second match, RR recovered from a poor start to post a reasonable total in a rain-affected contest against the Delhi Daredevils.

Apart from skipper Ajinkya Rahane and batsman Sanju Samson, rest of the team is yet to show their best. Biggest worry for the team is that their three big buys in the IPL player auction 2018 – Ben Stokes, Jaydev Unadkat and D'Arcy Short – are yet to make a significant contribution.

With both teams having one win each from their respective home matches, Bangalore is placed at the fifth spot while Rajasthan is at seventh in the points table.
