Prime accused in Nirbhaya rape case Ram Singh commits 'suicide'
Ram Singh, one of the six accused who abducted, raped and murdered the 23-year old physiotherapist girl in Delhi on December 16, allegedly committed suicide in the wee hours on Monday by hanging himself in his cell at high security Tihar Jail in New Delhi.
Singh, who was driving the bus in which the gruesome crime took place, had allegedly ordered the other men to lure the girl and her male friend inside the bus on the pretext of giving them lift.
The government has asked the DG Prisons to submit a report on the alleged suicide case. Today Singh was scheduled to be produced before the fast track court at Saket, where the daily hearing of the case is going on.

Finally Accused realises the crime and punished himself. Our Law doesn't though there are many learned lawyers, tainted Policemen and experience politicians do not realise it till now and will allow them to flee by changing their names/identity, will try this case for at least 10 years and make the people unhappy and insecured by all means.... Whole lot of taxpayers money will be wasted on this proceedings without any result....

Good that the scum is dead....However, the others also should follow his path and save the judiciary its time and the victims family the pain of the case being dragged on and on... maybe some of the convicts themselves can knock these vermin off.

It is good. At least we will save taxpayers money to go through the process of deciding on his crime and punishment. Others accused should also follow his example. The under-age one needs to be shot at his ....... though.
