Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh today arrived in Srinagar on a 2-day visit. The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Union Minister for Health, Ghulam Nabi Azad and other dignitaries of the Central Government.

Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh today arrived in Srinagar on a 2-day visit. At the Technical Airport, the Prime Minister was received by the Governor, N.N. Vohra, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Speaker Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Dy. Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Members of the State Council of Ministers, Dy. Chairman Legislative Council, JK PCC Chief, Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz and top ranking Army, Civil and Police officers including State Chief Secretary and Director General of Police.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Union Minister for Health, Ghulam Nabi Azad and other dignitaries of the Central Government.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to address Convocation of Sher-i-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at SKICC here in the afternoon.
